Are we ever thankful enough?
Do we ever stop and think,
Where all these great blessings come from?
They might leave before you could blink!

We have clothes to wear, food to eat,
Beds to sleep, soft chairs for a seat,
Cars to drive, shelter from the storm,
Downy blankets to keep us warm!

So many blessings, the amount
Weíre too busy to even count.
This time of year we should take note
That this is not the time to gloat.

We should humbly examine self,
Also, the food upon our shelf,
Think more of those less fortunate,
To whom our warmth could permeate.

But for Godís most bountiful grace,
There go I in the poor manís place!
