Seen on a Country Road

Whose tree is this, it’s hard to say
It sure puts on a great display
At first view, I could not believe
Something this beautiful, could be.

Folks spend millions at Christmastime
To trim a tree that’s all sublime
The Creator made this one free,
For all to enjoy, all to see.

Soon this beauty will fade away
But will appear another day
When its sap rises up in Spring
New life and enjoyment to bring!

So we will wait so patiently
Knowing that what will be, will be
Meantime we must go our own way
To come again? Who’s to say?
