John Nippolt
John Nippolt was born and raised in Southern California. He has lived in Hawaii for decades. He is an art teacher, surfer and master woodcarver. Nippolt has been creating the awards for surfing professionals who win the Van's Triple Crown of Surfing for the past twenty years. He has been published in Middle Ground Magazine and other teacher news publications.
